Off-Site Meeting Venues: Landmarks to Live It Up
Meetings become lifetime experiences when hosted in one of Virginia’s most unique meeting venues.
This historic theater located across the street from the Virginia Tech campus dates back to 1909 and has been restored to reflect the original look: Art Deco meets Spanish Colonial Revival. Groups can book a private showing of indie and foreign films.
Lane Football Stadium
The south end zone of this stadium (aka “The Home of the Hokies”) houses the West Club and East Club Lounge connected by a long hallway. Each lounge accommodates up to 200 people for a standing reception ideal for sporting-themed events.
The former home of Revolutionary War patriot Colonel William Preston, this 1700 plantation just outside of Blacksburg is also the birthplace of two Virginia governors. This historic setting is perfect for an outdoor pavilion picnic-style event.
Moss Arts Center
Home to everything from art exhibitions to performing violinists to lectures, this 150,000-square-foot facility on the Virginia Tech campus includes a 1,260-seat performance hall, visual arts galleries, amphitheater, four-story experimental Cube, and multiple studios – all of which are available for rental.
