Day 1
Arrival: Welcome to Bend
Arrive at Riverhouse Lodge, nestled along the Deschutes River in Bend, Oregon. Check in and take your first stroll along the Deschutes River Trail, which runs directly past the lodge.
Afternoon: Explore the Property
Wander down to The Eddy riverfront lawn for sweeping water views, relaxing in Adirondack chairs, and soaking in Bend’s crisp spring air. Later, rent bikes and cruise the river trail toward Drake Park and downtown Bend.
Evening: Riverside Dining + Golden Hour
Indulge in dinner at Currents at Riverhouse Lodge, where you'll sample Pacific Northwest cuisine featuring seasonal spring ingredients. Insider tip: request a riverfront patio table overlooking the Deschutes River.
Afterward, take a sunset walk along the river - Spring evenings bring long golden hours and mountain-fresh air, perfect for photography or a relaxed after-dinner stroll.
Night: Cozy Lodge Evenings
Gather around the outdoor fire pits overlooking the Deschutes River where you can roast s’mores and listen to the flowing river nearby, or relax back in your room or on a private patio with fire pit (select guestrooms).
Optional: take a dip in Splash at the Lodge, featuring indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, sauna, and steam room, and featuring nightly Dive-in Movies under the stars.
Day 2
Morning: Coffee by the River
Start the day at Currents Café with espresso from Portland Coffee Roasters. Grab fresh pastries and enjoy morning coffee along the Deschutes River.
Afterward, ead out for a spring hike:
- Shevlin Park – scenic forest trails with spring wildflowers
- Tumalo Falls – one of Central Oregon’s most stunning waterfalls, roaring with spring runoff
Midday: Spring Adventure in the Cascades

Morning: A Slow Bend Morning

Midday: One Last View
Stop by Pilot Butte for panoramic views of Bend and the Cascade Mountains to send you off on your return journey home.
